EOTD: MNY Hyper Diamonds Bronze and Sleek Ink blue...

The second last of my Winter eye looks - this turned out somewhat interesting, especially with how it seemed to roundify (is there such a word?) my eye shape. Forgot the wing! But I'm TOTALLY OVER the dulls and TOTALLY READY for some Spring brights ♥ Meanwhile, here's what I used...

Started by laying down a base of Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze - over two years old now and still creamy with a load of glisten. Over that I applied the most goldy shade from the Maybelline Hyperdiamonds Bronze palette - I think this box is about to celebrate it's third birthday, but the shadows remain vibrant and blendable, creamy and sparkly...

I framed the entire eye with Sleek Ink Blue from the V2 matte palette.- stunning pigment, and the box is falling to pieces after many years love, but I simply can't won't let it go! I blended it with some essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in the shade Cool Down underneath the lower lashline - these crayons are such good value...

I don't know about you, but I'm itching to get out of these stifling polo-necks - ugghh!,,,

And on the waterline is my trusty friend, essence white kajal - I know I'm forever raving about it, but it's just the best thing for covering up my blotches...

So gals, are you done with this season as much as I am?

Take care of you,
kats xxx

  1. It is so refreshing to see so much colour being used! Everybody loves neutrals but these colours make your eyes pop and it looks gorgeous. I agree though, definitely done with winter! Can't wait for spring/summer time! X

  2. Love this EOTD Kats, I never even thought of pairing gold and blue but it looks STUNNING!! I actually came to the realisation that I didn't break out a single vampy look this winter, but have been wearing orange and brights a lot instead. Looks like Ill being rocking the dark colours in spring and summer lol

    1. Aww thanks Indie - I liked the colour combo, but thought it made my eyes look a bit weird. I much prefer a more almond shape, but glad you like it hon, and thanks for letting me know ♥

  4. Up here in Brisbane, the last couple of months have actually felt more like Spring so I would love it to continue right till Autumn (by pass our hot summer :-) )
Now to the eyemake-up....quite simply I do love these colours. Different and beautiful at the sametime. You know if I saw gold for eyes in the shops I would think No Way but after seeing yours, I have changed my mind.
