REVIEW: Nude by Nature Natural Mineral Lipsticks...

These Nude by Nature lipsticks were my very first purchase when I began my lipstick refresh back in May - at $17.95 each, they were the priciest component of the whole escapade, but so worth the outlay. These are truly beautiful lippies - crammed with nourishing ingredients like Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter and Vitamin E, they'll have your pucker looking picture perfect from the very first swipe. Only three shades in the range, but all magically pigmented, and encased in exceptionally classy metal tubes with a lid that clicks firmly in place...

The swatches below were done on bare skin (my leg actually), three or four swipes - the formula is so smooth and creamy, and there's only the faintest oil fragrance...

Chique, Demure, Sassy
Starting with the palest shade, this is Chique - a soft dusky pink...

And here is my fave, Demure - a super-flattering smokey pink with a touch of mauve...

This last one is a stunner for Autumn - Sassy, a gorgeous warm ginger...

These lipsticks are SO good, they actually condition my lips. Before I did the swatches above, my pout was tight from being bare since lunchtime, and I had several patches of dry skin on both top and bottom lips. After applying this formula for the time it took to take the pics (a few minutes each), they were back to being supple and soft, and not a flake in sight. LOVE them and here's hoping more colours are added to the range

Nude by Nature products are easy to find at most pharmacies, Priceline, Myer, Target & BigW. They're not tested on animals, and contain 100% naturally derived ingredients...

Have you tried any Nude by Nature makeup? I'll be reviewing their Liquid Mineral Foundation later this week - promise!

Take care of you,
kats xxx

    1. It's like a balm Sarah, truly, softens my lips in a flash, and yes the pigmentation is beaut - nice even colour too. It's such a pity they only make 3 shades xxx

    1. Great to hear hon - I've only recently started wearing nude shades and I'm loving them. I tend to be more of a bright lippie gal, but the nudey ones are super flattering, and they never seem to bleed either ♥

    1. They are incredibly lip-friendly Indie - I have to admit it takes a bit of self-pushing for me to wear a nude lipstick, but I'm getting into them big-time as the days go by ♥x♥

  8. What I call a nude, isn't a nude. I wear a nipple pink/brown shade & that's the closest I come to a nude lip. When they add more colours, I'll get on the bandwagon. All the testers I've seen from Nude are in a shocking state. I hate to think what they've been put through.

    1. Gosh those testers don't sound very inviting hon - the Nude range is sold in 6 stores in my local area, and the stands (and testers) are always in good shape. Some people are just so thoughtless - I don't know which is worse, stealing the testers or messing them up xxx
