Last November, I posted some photos of the my beloved Mama's garden. It was her birthday on the weekend, and I thought it was the perfect time to show you that she doesn't let the cooler seasons diminish the fabulous array of colours and variety of blooms she has on display, in fact I reckon what follows is even more spectacular than the Spring version! All these pics were taken at various times over the last four months, and I think you'll agree she has a gift for coaxing nature into revealing the most bounteous beauty...
Happy birthday Mama Kats ♥
(Warning: picture heavy post!)

I think I need Mama Kats to tend to my garden. How strikingly beautiful are all those flowers. So vibrant and colourful.
ReplyDeleteWe were given these two beautiful roses from a g.f. when we got married last year and I have no idea how to look after them. We put them in pots and they seem to be doing really well but don't you have to cut them or something?
Loving the purples and pinks in those flowers........just beautiful to gaze at. Beautiful flowers from a beautiful lady. :-)
Hey Mandy hon, my Mum sure has a green thumb hey? She did brilliantly this year with the cyclamens especially - gosh what a show! Yes I think you have to prune roses, but if they're in a pot, not as severely as if they're in the garden. But I'll ask "the expert", and get back to you ♥
DeleteOh my goodness Kats. I don't know what to say. I am absolutely breath taken by your mums unbelievable garden. She is amazing. Gosh all these flowers are so beautiful. I cannot pick a fave! I love them all. Can I hire her for a while? LOL. Her garden needs to be published all over the world!! How stunning. Well done mama Kats! xxx
ReplyDeleteSweet Gemma - I've just sent my Mum the link to the page so she'll see it tomorrow, and she'll be so thrilled to read your glowing comments hon, thanks doll ♥ ♥ ♥
DeleteOh my I just died and went to flower heaven. What an incredible garden!!
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty spectacular Monique - she used to enter the local council competitions, and won numerous times, but now she (and the neighbours) just enjoy the fruits of her labours. Her plants are so incredibly happy, which is why they look so vibrant xxx
DeleteWhat beautiful flowers, Kat. Your mum is an amazing gardener. Your photos are so well done, captures them so well xx
ReplyDeleteGosh thanks Indie - she'll be so excited to know that you love all her pretty blooms too. I had to be ruthless with the pics - there's more, but I thought the page would never load if I included them all lol ♥
DeleteWhat vibrant bursts of colour! Your mum certainly does an amazing job at making them look stunning!
ReplyDeleteHi there Princess - aren't they amazingly potent? Whatever she feeds them, they obviously love it :-)
DeleteLots of colour - must be genetic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, beautiful photos.
Ha ha doll, yeah I reckon you're right, it's in the blood! Thanks for your lovely comment hon. I can't help but take closeups of flowers - they fascinate me with all their textures and intricacies xxx
