SPOTLIGHT: Favourite December 2019 LOTD's...

Something for everyone here in these December faves, although silly me created this collage before I posted my ho ho ho Christmas red lippie, so I'll include it in the January collection. That'll teach me to prepare too far in advance lol ♥...

1.  Revlon Super Lustrous - Naughty Plum. I don't seem to have included this one before - no idea why 'cos it's absolutely gorgeous hey. I think it's just that I have too many in my kit, so a few are bound to miss out. Anyways I'm thrilled this one has made the spotlight at last - these Revlon lippies are literally unbeatable for performance, pigment and comfort factor ♥...

2.  Maybelline Made For All - Pink For Me. Adore - full review of this whole range HERE ♥...

3.  Covergirl Katy Kat Matte - Catoure. Lost count of how many times this darling has appeared - one of my fave nude-with-benefits of all time. Full review of some of the range HERE ♥...

4.  BYS - Dangerous Diva. Another one that has emerged from the shadows, she's such an interesting one with her slightly pearlised finish, and very comfortable to wear. BYS make some terrific and amazingly affordable products ♥...

5.  NYX High Voltage - Free Spirit. Such a pity this range was discontinued - orange lipsticks that aren't patchy and streaky are a rare find. This is old but I won't be tossing it any time soon - the colour is so fab, so summery ♥...

6.  BOE Beauty Matte - Primped. This $2 lippie is exceptional value. Had this one a long long time and it still has the same colour and smell, and it doesn't dry out my pout. $2! ♥...

7.  Nude by Nature Moisture Shine - Garnet. At least two previous appearances, this lipstick is so creamy and so full of goodness it's a wonder I don't wear it every week. Such a flattering bricky red, and of course the rose gold packaging is stunning ♥...

8.  Nutrimetics NC Hydra Brilliance - Garnet. Not sure why but I have a tendency to wear multiple "garnets" in the same month! Always fascinates me how different the interpretations are by various brands. This to me is true garnet - a deep pinky red that's wearable with just about anything, and I love how soft this leaves my lips ♥...

9.  NARS - Audacious. I'm still in two minds as to whether to classify this as a pinky red, or a reddish pink. Either way, I should trot it out heaps more often as it's simply divine n'est-ce pas? The black case makes it hard to spot in the collection, so I've moved it into the "revisit regularly" section I've created for forgotten gems such as this ♥...

10.  Maybelline Made For All - Fuchsia For Me.  Definitely made for me - talk about a success story for MNY, still waiting for an orange and a purple, please ♥... 

11.  NYX Cosmic Metals Lip Cream - Fuchsia Fusion. The last hurrah for this irreplaceable stunner. Nothing else in my kit that can match it and I've had to let it go after using the last molecule for this outing. I still have a couple of purples, a bronze and an orange from the (discontinued) range, but my heart aches for this gorgeous galactic gal ♥♥♥...

12.  Rimmel The Only 1 Matte - Run The Show. Such a pretty purple - the ones like this with more pink than blue definitely suit me better. And this formula is one of the few matte ones that I can wear all day and not get flakey lips ♥...

SPOTLIGHT: Favourite September 2019 LOTD's...

Yay for Spring! A distinct lack of deep plums and berries in this collection, but that's to be expected as I slowly shift to the warmer weather wardrobe Every year the October long weekend is my signal, and every year, the week after I pack away the woollies, it gets cold again lol! Usually just for a week or so, but what's the point of patterns if you don't learn something, so this time I was smart and kept a few outfits aside just in case, and I actually didn't box my boots till today. It's still a bit too chilly in the mornings for strappy sandals, but I've dusted off the between-season shoes, the fake tan bottle is on the bench, and I've rearranged the wardrobe so I'm ready for the >25 degree days ahead -  bring it on! ♥...

Only one red last month - I've been wearing more pastel shades so far, but I've no doubt it'll make a comeback once I get into the summery brights that are starting to wave at me from the closet ♥...

1. Revlon Super Lustrous Pearl - Gold Goddess. This isn't a true representation of the actual lipstick - it's a gold slightly metallic shade, quite pale and sheer, but because I rarely want to look like I've just stepped out of a Bond movie (lol), I apply it over the top of something else, usually a brown that isn't golden enough to match my outfit, and it does the trick ♥♥♥...

2. Bourjois Rouge Velvet - Brownette.  One of my fave brown lippies, this one seems to go with any of the earthy shades in my wardrobe. The formula is super comfortable, and I usually only reapply after eating ♥♥♥...

3. Australis Metallic Velour Lips Matte Lip Cream - Bang Kok. Another one from my Australis $3 sale splurge. Simply adore the colour, but I'm not a fan of the drying effect it has on my lips so I carry around a toning gloss which I apply just to the inner part of my lips to stop them sticking together ♥♥♥... 

4. Covergirl Katy Kat Matte - Catoure. Have had this one a while, and I have a spare just in case it's discontinued, although I can still see it on the Priceline website. LOVE this shade, the feel and the finish. It's a demi-matte which is the only kind I can wear comfortably ♥♥♥...

5. Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer - Sunstone. In theory, this should be EOL as I bought it in...2015! I know because I reviewed some of the range HERE, and there are still some colours available, sadly not this one. What a brilliant formula though - to last this long with no change in taste, smell, texture or colour. Still awesomely hydrating, and the gloss just keeps on keeping on! ♥♥♥...

6. Innoxa Summer Matte - Tangerine. My lipstick cull has slowed lately as I keep finding ancient lippies (like this one) that are still perfectly viable. And this being such a juicy and vibrant orange, I simply can't toss it yet, although I bought it in 2014! Holey guacemoley, how is that possible? Streak-free oranges are so hard to come by, so this will stay with me for a while yet ♥♥♥...

7. Nude By Nature Satin Liquid Lipstick - Sienna.  One word - divine! I have a few of these now, just hanging out till they expand the range into some brights, like a red or a fuchsia or a purple This is the boldest one I've swatched (and bought) so far, and given how blissfully comfortable this creamy liquid is, I hope they realise they're onto a good and great thing, and cater for us gals that go gaga over loud lip products ♥♥♥...

8. Maybelline ColorSensational Made For All - Red For Me. I think you know by now how I feel about this little darling. Full review of the range is HERE ♥♥♥...

9. Nude By Nature Satin Liquid Lipstick - Rich Plum. Ditto #7 ♥♥♥...

10. Nutrimetics Hydra Brilliance 50th Anniversary Lipstick - Marshmallow. I should have bought more of these. Actually, I did, but I gave them away! This shade is just so gorgeous, flattering and versatile. Looks equally fab with navy, khaki, grey or teal ♥♥♥...

11. Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick - Electric Pink. Almost three years old, this one never fails to keep my lips hydrated, or brighten my day. Another one that I can't toss - I still have the whole set that I reviewed HERE ♥♥♥... 

12. Australis Liquid Lips - Pan-Na-Cotta.  Far more comfy formula than the matte range - I can handle this one, and of course, this shade is to die for. I'll be giving it a hammering this summer as I KNOW it will go perfectly with so many outfits ♥♥♥...

SPOTLIGHT: Favourite August 2019 LOTD's...

Time for another round of lipstick love! Thank goodness the days are getting longer and warmer - I'm so over scarves, gloves and even my beloved boots, which are becoming a wee bit too hot and stuffy after the morning chill has faded. While it's quite a chore, I do enjoy the end result of switching the wardrobe around and packing away the winter woollies for another year. I'm also ready for some pretty pastels and brights on my pout too, although as I'm always at least a month behind with these posts, you'll still be seeing the deep reds, plums and berries for a while yet... 

As usual, I'll start with the nudes, which I've been exploring (and loving!) quite a bit more than usual lately ♥...

1. Nude by Nature Satin Liquid Lipstick - Natural. Oh wow - I haven't fallen in love with a true nude like this for a long long time. I think you know by now that I don't normally go for pale lipsticks, and the closest I go to a nude is more of a mauve or a coral (like the next one), but I'm in awe of this particular hue, which is extraordinarily flattering, and the formula is a total darling. Thanks to beautyheaven for sending this to me - I just plain adore it! ♥♥♥ 

2. Nutrimetics Hydra Brilliance - Coral Silk.  Love this one too - very high comfort factor, and although it's pale, there's enough pigment to keep me looking healthy, and it seems to take on a new life when I coordinate with coral clothing. A pity it's a special edition ♥♥♥...

3. Revlon Hyper Matte Ultra HD Matte Lip Mousse - Spice. Another nudey one (actually I'd call this a nude with benefits) that I spotted on special in the supermarket - such a pretty shade, but not all that comfortable as it's quite drying. It's tolerable with a balm or primer underneath, but I have so many others that are day-long hydrating, so I may not keep this ... 

4. Bourjois Rouge Edition - Brun Boheme. This won my heart last autumn - not red, not orange, not brown, but a combo of all three to make a fabulously bricky hue that I can wear with both warm and cool colours (it's totally gorgeous with icy greys) ♥♥♥...

5. Lip Monthly Lipstick - 02. Close to being my favourite autumnal orange (as opposed to a summery neon orange). I have a couple of lippies that are quite a unique shade, and this is one of them. Lovely and moist too ♥♥♥...

6. Nutrimetics Hydra Brilliance - Pecan. Don't think there's a Nutrimetics lipstick that I haven't loved - they sure do know how to put together great formulas with stunning shades. I'll be rocking this one all through the warm weather ♥♥♥...

7. Lacura Beauty Lipstick - Chief.  Hard to fault Aldi lipsticks, although their colour range is usually limited to only three or five choices, but what they do come out with are invariably awesome and terrific value ♥♥♥ ...

8. DB Cosmetics Moisturising Lipstick - Red Hot Red. I need to update my DB lip collection as these are getting a bit old now, although they're still viable, comfortable and don't smell or taste weird. But I think I've had them for five years so it's time. This is a beaut neutral red that would suit most skin tones, so I hope it's still available ♥♥♥...

9. Maybelline ColorSensational Matte - Divine Wine. Tolerable matte formula, mainly because the colour is truly divine. I mean this is vamp in a tube hey ♥♥♥...

10. Lacura Beauty Mineral Lipstick - After Dark. Another beauty from Aldi - sadly a special edition, such a juicy berry, amazing formula and the rose gold packaging is luxe ♥♥♥...

11. Nutrimetics Silks Creme Lipstick - Plum. I've worn this so many times I'm half-way down the bullet in less than six months. I'm definitely a plum all year round gal, and this one is a stunner ♥♥♥... 

12. NYX Cosmic Metals - Fuchsia Fusion.  The hottest, sassiest, pinkest pink in my collection. NYX please bring these back! ♥♥♥...

SPOTLIGHT: Favourite June 2019 LOTD's...

Squeezing in the June LOTD's with some classic Winter colours - yum! Maybelline is dominating thanks to the Made For All pack I was so kindly sent, but there are a few pre-loved faves and a couple of newbies that I really didn't need, but couldn't resist lol ♥...

So let's get on with the details...

1. Bourjois Rouge Edition - Brun Boheme. SO love this colour - it's particularly stunning paired with  an olive themed outfit, and the comfort factor is 10/10 ♥,,,

2. Nude by Nature Moisture Shine - Garnet. So different from the other "garnet" lippies in my kit (which are way redder) but another supremely softening and lip-loving formula ♥...

3. Colour by TBN - Raison Rage. One of my latest bargains, this was in a bowl in Price Attack for under $5. I've not seen this brand anywhere else, but I'm quite impressed. Very moist, wears well for the price, and the shade is a rare breed in my collection ♥...

4. Maybelline ColourSensational Made For All - Red For Me. Gorgeous orangey red, this is the only matte in the range (well for now at least). Very comfortable and long-wearing. You'll find my dedicated post HERE ♥...

5. Maybelline ColourSensational Made For All - Ruby For Me. Oh goody - side by side with the Red For Me it's easier to see the colour difference between these two than it was in my article. This beauty def has more pink content - so moist, so delish! ♥...

6. Maybelline ColourSensational Made For All - Mauve For Me. Surprisingly this is the one I've worn the most so far - amazingly flattering to my skin tone and goes with just about anything. A raging success story Maybelline! ♥...

7. Maybelline ColourSensational Made For All - Pink For Me. I call this kind of shade antique pink - love that it's muted but still packs enough punch for those of us who need some colour to look healthy lol ♥...

8. Colour by TBN - Vampira. Bargain #2 from Price Attack. They only had one other shade in the bowl - a nude that was too pale for me, but I'm hoping to find another outlet for these where I can check out the whole range ♥...

9. Shanghai Suzy - Miss Georgina Pink Plum. A much-loved berry (you can tell by the label wearing off). I simply MUST try more of these (vegan & cruelty-free). There's a special at the mo' - 3 for $50 with free express shipping HERE, although this particular shade seems to have been discontinued ♥...

10. Maybelline ColourSensational Made For All - Fuchsia For Me. Wowser bold pink that's sure to lift your spirits - a total knockout if you're wearing a black, grey or navy outfit ♥...

11. Maybelline ColourSensational Made For All - Plum For Me. The other one from this stunning range that's particularly dear to my heart. This is so ME! ♥...

12. Sash Cosmetics Luminous Lipstick - Insomnia. I feel a bit bad posting anything from this brand as it folded last Christmas, and there's nothing worse than falling head over heels for a lipstick colour only to find it's no longer available, so forgive me. I keep hoping they'll be reincarnated ♥...

Beautyheaven Glosscars Markeplace Event 2019...

Despite all attempts by Transport for NSW to thwart my travel to beautyheaven HQ yesterday, thankfully I made it in time to attend my nominated session of the beautyheaven Glosscars Marketplace Event. As always, it was the best and most fun 45 minutes any self-respecting beauty blogger could hope to experience - lots of new products to discover and photograph, quick chats with old (and new) friends, and expert info from the glam, warm and welcoming Team BH staff ♥... 

This is an annual event that precedes the Glosscar Awards voting for products launched in the previous 12 months, and an opportunity for close-to-Sydney members to sample some of the nominees. I so look forward to this every year and count myself most fortunate to have received an invitation ♥...

The participating brands this year were Blessed by Nature, Bodecare, Handsome, Jane Iredale, Nude by Nature, Olay, Pump Haircare, Skin Nutrient and Skin Physics. Believe it or not, I'm familiar with only ONE of the products that were gifted (Nude by Nature Moisture Shine Lipstick), so I'm blissing out to have the following goodies to road test before voting begins next week ♥...

 Blessed By Nature Foaming Facial Cleanser...

Oh yum! Containing Lavender, Aloe Vera, Calendula & Chamomile, this cleanser will have your face makeup and grime free in a flash. I used it last night to take off all my beauty-party slap - smells divine, and my second cleanse with micellar water resulted in a cotton pad that was as clean-as-a-whistle. Super effective and non-drying, the formula contains no sulphates, alcohol or parabens, it's 100% vegan, not tested on animals, and the company is all-Australian owned. Score! ♥...

Bodecare Organic Egyptian Loofah...

The biggest loofah I've ever seen, let alone used! Also vegan, I gave my bod a good going over with this gem in the shower this morning, and I'm sold. It feels really nasty when dry - by that I mean hard and as scratchy as sandpaper, but as soon as you wet the sponge, it softens and becomes flexible while retaining enough firmness to give your skin a thorough and stimulating sloughing - a few weeks of this and I'll be loving my thighs again ♥...

Handsome Men's Skincare Facial Moisturiser...

As this moisturiser contains Organic Cedarwood, Bergamot, Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, Rosehip and Vitamin E, the man of the house may not even get to try it lol! Only joking of course - I'll have to report on this at a later date, but I can tell you that it absorbs in seconds and smells like a herb garden after a spring rain. Also Aussie-made and not tested on animals - definitely a contender for a prize ♥...

Jane Iredale Triple Luxe Long Lasting Naturally Moist Lipstick...

Oh wow - this is my kind of lipstick! Smooth and creamy, full of moisturising goodness (Moringa, Avocado and Sunflower Seed Oils), vegan, cruelty-free, AND it lasts for hours. Where have you been all my life? I chose the shade Ella, which according to the information card we were given is a "deep rose brown", although in the artificial light I thought it was more of a plummy pink. I wore it today and the shade is incredibly flattering, the formula is exceptionally comfortable, and I didn't need to re-apply after breakfast. Adore! Instagram swatch will be up this week ♥...

 Nude by Nature Moisture Shine Lipstick...

I'm already a fan of Deep Plum and Garnet in this range, and the formula is a beauty. Delighted to have received Blush Pink for those days when I want a quiet but pretty nude. The Vitamin E, Kakadu Plum, Shea Butter & Jojoba Oil content keeps my lips moist and supple for hours. It's going to be a tough decision as to which of these two brands to vote for - I'm hoping there'll be two categories so I don't have to choose! ♥...

Pump Haircare Thickening Mask with Gotu Kola Extract...

So looking forward to trying this hair mask which has heaps going for it - sulphate free, contains Soy and Rice Protein, Olive Leaf, Gotu Kola (a scalp nourisher, I looked it up) & Horsetail extract and Argan Oil, cruelty-free, and it smells delicious enough to put on my face. Only needs to be left on for 10 minutes, but you can sleep in it too ♥...

Skin Nutrient Goat's Milk Magic Touch...

This moisturiser was a huge surprise - it looks like oatmeal coloured jelly, and I can see and feel teeny little pearly balls as I massage it in, but they dissolve almost immediately leaving my skin feeling crazy soft and hydrated. I treated myself to this last night and woke up to a super smooth and perfectly moisture-balanced complexion. This will be ideal for me for the coming cold season ♥...

 Skin Physics Advance Super Lift Hand & Nail Renewal Cream...

Well now, this just might be my new go-to anti-ageing hand cream. We saw some before and after photos of weathered, wrinkly and spotty hands transformed into smooth, even-toned and plumped paws - will let you know how this goes, but coming from Skin Physics, I'm supremely confident of some obvious improvement in my hands and nails. Contains SP15 and caviar! ♥...

Olay Regenerist Whip Active Moisturiser & Magnemasks Infusion Hydrating Sheet Mask...

The only presentation stand I forgot to photograph! There are three formulations in the Whip moisturiser, and predictably I chose the Regenerist flavour which is aimed at firming skin and reducing lines and wrinkles, all of which I need a lot of ha ha. I used this today under my makeup and it helped control the shine I normally experience in my T-zone, but my skin still feels hydrated now 12 hours later. I'm already a huge fan and regular user of the Rejuvenating Sheet Masks, so I opted for the Hydrating variety. These masks are one of the easiest to use as there's no fiddling around with backing sheets, the coverage is excellent, and they're one of the best face-fits on the market ♥...

SPOTLIGHT: Favourite September 2018 LOTD's...

Gee, tough decisions for the selection of my fave September LOTD's. The gorgeous Barbe from Fashionista In Suburbia had an Instagram #7Lippies7days Challenge, and I couldn't resist entering multiple times ♥ The requirement was for different colour families or textures every day, and I took the opportunity to rediscover some beauties that I haven't touched in almost 2 years...

Of course, there are some all-time loves and repeaters here too, but I selected 18 from the BIG bunch which I hope you'll like, so here we go ♥...

1. Hikari Matte Lip Gloss - Metro. How's this for a pretty nude? One that I can actually wear successfully, and without looking anaemic. The formula is amazing - long wearing and supremely comfortable. Came in a LipMonthly bag ♥...

2. L'Oreal Color Riche - Cristal Cappuccino. Gorgeous reddish brown, THE shade for autumn, I've had this for yonks and it's still keeping my lips lush and supple ♥... 

3. Nude by Nature Moisture Shine - Garnet. The first of three lipsticks called "Garnet" on this page, and they're all vastly different colours! I swatched this one again just the other day as it's actually more intense than it appears here - I used a pale nude lipliner underneath for this pic, but have since found another one that's closer to the shade and supports the colour rather than watering it down. It's really quite beautiful, and the formula of these NBN lippies is magical, hope they bring out HEAPS more colours (hint, hint) ♥...

4. Ulta3 - Sweet Passion. Absolutely adore this lippie - one of very few in my kit that's leaning more to yellow/orange than red/orange, and a far better match for some of my wardrobe oranges. It's rich and dense and has a slightly frosted finish, which I think is ever so flattering for us older chooks ♥...

5. Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid - Orange Shot. A blast from the past and I'm bamboozled as to why I've neglected these for so long - fabulous formula, fabulous pigment, so comfortable to wear all day without flaking or becoming scruffy-looking ♥...

6. Maybelline Color Sensational - Fatal Red.  Always a favourite, so vivid and creamy, a true fire engine red - phwoarrrrr ♥...

7. Bourjois Rouge Edition 12 Hours - Red-Belle. This was a gift from a darling colleague on my last day at work ♥ It doesn't actually last 12 hours, but pretty close, and despite being a long-wear, it's entirely lip-friendly. Love you Bourjois ♥...

8. L'Oreal Color Riche Moisture Matte - Bloody Mary. This is her fifth appearance in my LOTD posts, which pretty much says it all. Pass me the vodka ♥...

9. Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer - Carnelian. We're gonna go back, WAY back...to 2015 when I bought these! Oh my, doesn't time fly when you have too many lip products? Still as gorgeous as ever, smells delish, slicks on like a dream - unbelievable ♥...

10. Nutrimetics nc Hydra Brilliance - Garnet. Another one that gets featured regularly in these posts -  review HERE, love everything about it, and this to me is "garnet"! ♥...

11. Nude by Nature Moisture Shine - Deep Plum.  The second fave from the new releases by NBN, and a shade that's right up my alley - more please! ♥...

12. Covergirl Colorlicious - Ravish Raspberry. Had this one a while too, but it's still available from Priceline. The shade and texture is as delicious as the name ♥...

13. Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer - Garnet. Yep, I sure dug deep into my collection, but I'm so glad because I've fallen in love with these all over again - such a beaut shade for spring, and hooray that gloss is making a comeback ♥...

14. W7 Liptember Lipstick - Raspberry Ripple. What would September be without a Liptember lippie hey? Quite possibly my favourite from the range, there's that slightly frosty shimmer again that I love, but not so much that it's dated ♥...

15. NYX Cosmic Metals Liquid - Fuchsia Fusion. You've heard me go on about this range many times, and my passion for this electric pink will never ever fade ♥...

16. Dirty Little Secret - Vengeance. Oh my, what a divinely soft yet statement pink. I've discovered some gems via LipMonthly, and this is one that's dear to my heart. I have a couple from this brand - the formula is lovely and moist, needs to be reapplied fairly regularly, but it does leave a decent stain to keep you going ♥...

17. City Color Creamy Lips - Blackberry Mojito. What an utterly stunning purple - massive applause as they totally nailed this berry shade. It sure is creamy, needs only a very thin swipe to look this intense, and even the name gets my mouth watering ♥...

18. Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink - Creator. Pretty much the ultimate purple liquid lippie - lasts all day ♥...

SPOTLIGHT: 3rd Quarter 2017 Fave LOTD's - Part 1...

It's time for another round of fave LOTD's ♥ These are for the three months up until end September, and I'm continuing on with splitting the post into only two parts instead of four as it's the only way they'll see the light of day in 2017! So here we go with the lippies that made my personal cut...

These posts are a beaut reminder for me of the stunners that are in my collection, and I even use them as a reference when I'm ferreting around for a particular colour, and can't remember what it's called or who made it. Hope you enjoy these browns, oranges, reds, corals & nudes ♥...

1. BYS Velvet Liquid Lipstick in Hot Cocoa - quite drying but I included it as it's such a fantastic brown for the cooler weather.
2. In the second pic, I added Cosmoholic Gold Gloss over the top of the same BYS lippie to see what would happen, and I wasn't disappointed - instant shimmer and shine,  plus it made the matte product wearable in the comfort department. I love how this gloss makes any lipstick multi-dimensional and vibrant. 
3. The third one is NYX Liquid Suede - Downtown Beauty - an unusual brown with yellow/green tones, goes so well with olivey/khaki outfits ♥...

1. Of course, brown doesn't have to be dark and broody, and this BYS Matte Lipstick in Espresso is the perfect cool weather shade for the not so daring - like most matte lippies it's a little drying, but a beauty for the price. 
2. The middle one is from a range that you'll be seeing a lot more of in this post - ModelsPrefer Artist Collection Crayons in the shade Bare. These little pencils are $5 for 3 from Priceline - whoa! A brilliant range of colours, you can wear them on lips, cheeks or eyes, and although they're not a standard size for a sharpener (grrrrr!) I'm able to keep the point using the large side of a Manicare one. These crayons are also terrific as lip liners - I think I bought the whole set! 
3. This last lippie I've had for ages - Nude by Nature Mineral Lipstick in the shade Sassy. Not the first time this has appeared in one of these posts, gorgeous autumnal shade, and fabulously nourishing formula ♥...

1. Only a couple of oranges this time around - it's a challenge to find one that isn't streaky, but NYX has nailed it with this Cosmic Metals Lip Cream in Solar Energy - beautiful colour, beautiful formula. Love this whole range actually ♥ 
2. In the middle is another ModelsPrefer Art Crayon in a shade called Poppy - it's ever so pretty hey? 
3. And the last one is another of these crayons (see I told you there'd be lots!) - this one is Carnation, and just tips over into a red ♥...

1. Oh my, the reds! Can't beat a scarlet hue for giving me a lift on a dull day, or with a monochrome outfit. On the left is Bourjois Rouge Laque in Self Peach - why oh why haven't I tried Bourjois lipsticks before? Who knows, but I'm making up for lost time - fabulous formula, amazing pigmentation, lasts for hours, total winner! 
2. Middle one is a long-time fave - Maybelline Color Sensational Fatal Red, fatally awesome. 
3. And on the right is W7 Liptember Devils Darling - even MORE intense, and a steal at $4.99, plus the proceeds go to a women's mental health initiative. I buy some of these every year ♥...

1. Moving onto the starring red in my kit - L'Oreal Color Riche Moisture Matte Lipstick in Bloody Mary. I already have a spare of this wowser - if you're serious about red lippie, then you MUST get your hands on this classic hottie ♥ 
2. #2 is NYX Intense Butter Gloss in Apple Crisp - so vibrant, so comfortable, I've said before these are my all-time favourite glosses, and that's still the case. 
3. Last one is Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick in Best of the Best - really the only one in this shade family with some blue content, love it ♥...

1. This darker red is ModelCo Lip Crayon in Red Velvet - I wear hardly anything from this brand, their products don't ring my bells at all, but this came in a Lip Monthly bag. It's really quite creamy, and one of the deepest reds in my collection. 
2. The second one is Maybelline Matte Lipstick in Divine Wine - divine by name, divine by nature.  
3. And lucky last is another ModelsPrefer Artist Crayon in the shade Berry. I included it here because to me it's a red rather than a berry ♥...

1. This first one is in a family all its own - gee is it a mauve, a nude, a pink? Can't nail it down but it's a stunning shade - Covergirl Katy Kat Matte in Catoure. Nothing else like it in my kit - ADORE!  
2. Centre one is Hola Neon Velvet Liquid Lipstick in Party Pop, another one from Lip Monthly. I included it as it's such a gorgeous corally shade, but it's very very drying, so I may have to toss it. 
3. On the right is Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color in Flirtation - such a comfortable formula, love just about all the shades in this release ♥...

1. And the final three! First up is ModelsPrefer Artist Crayon in the shade Coral - pale but ever so flattering on this old chook.  
2. Centre stage goes to So Susan Liquid Matte Long-Wear Liquid Lipstick, shade Pumpkin  - quite a mouthful but the most comfortable long lasting matte liquid I have ever tried. Survived turkish toast wth vegemite & a fried egg - thank you Lip Monthly! 
3. And finally another of the Maybelline Color Sensational Bold range - Gone Greige. I'm not a nude lover, but I'm crazy about this mushroomy beigey beauty ♥...
