7 Year Bloggiversary Giveaway!...

Holey guacemoley - I've been doing this for 7 years? I remember the excitement (and trepidation) I felt when I uploaded my very first blog post in September 2013 (HERE) - would anyone read it? does the world need yet another blogger? can I maintain the commitment? All these doubts were running through my head as I hit the upload button, but encouraged and inspired by the beautyheaven beauties I'd made friends with over the years, it happened, and I'm still here! I'm not posting twice weekly any more, and the content has changed a bit, but it's still based on pretty things, things that I love. So to celebrate yet another milestone of my mumbles and musings, I decided to put together a giveaway bundle of those beauty items that I write about most frequently and are dearest to my heart - lipsticks and perfume! ...

    Liptember September

Don't you just love September? It's quite possibly my favourite month of the year and always lifts my spirits. And how could it not considering it heralds the start of spring - a bevvy of blossoms and new growth in the garden, longer daylight hours, not so chilly nights and mornings, and not to forget, it's Liptember month. Every year various organisations & individuals contribute to the Liptember campaign to raise awareness of women's mental health. Chemist Warehouse is the major partner and they always have a stand at their checkout counters displaying colourful lipsticks for $5, made by W7 cosmetics. I buy these every year as they're a creamy and moist formula, the colours are so cheerful, and I'm keen to support a great cause...

There are six in the set, but I didn't buy the blue and the green - truly, apart from Halloween (will there be one this year?) I'd never wear them, but here are the other four gorgeous and totally wearable colours...

    Cin Cin

Palest pastel pink and the sheerest of the set - needs to be reapplied often as it wears off quickly, but what a heavenly spring shade this is, blossoms all the way ...

    Neon Purple

Adore this royal colour - so vibrant and lush, and it covers my freckles with a couple of swipes ...

    Fluorescent Orange

One of the few yellowy oranges in my kit, and it goes on easily with barely any streaks ...

    Devils Darling

I've saved the best till last - fire engines, eat your heart out! One of the best $5 reds of all time ...

Well worth a trip to Chemist Warehouse hey lovelies?

Take care of you, and keep safe,
    kats xxx

P.S. In case you're wondering why I haven't been posting my usual social media photo frenzy, I've been blocked on Instagram for over two weeks, and there's no end in sight and no explanation. Can't like anything, can't comment.  Will just have to ride it out and cross my fingers they let me back in :-(

    SPOTLIGHT: Favourite July 2019 LOTD's...

I'm not sure how this happened, but it seems I didn't wear a red lipstick in July - whoa, must be a first! But hey, there were so many other gorgeous nudes and plums and purples I just had to trot out, and you know I'll make up for it in August lol. And a quarter of these were from Australis because they had a sale with all lipsticks on special for $3 - need I say more?...

As usual, there's a mix of old faves and newbies - still culling the collection, and will do a re-count soon ...

    1. Colourpop Metallic Lip - DM.  I just adore this metallic golden bronze, but it's just too drying, so this was its last outing and I had to let it go...sob...
    2. Bourjois Rouge Laque - Self Peach.  More tangerine than peach but I love it all the same. Love Bourjois! ...
    3. Australis Colour Inject Moisturising Mineral Lipstick - Bolero.  For $3 I had to have this, but is it pink or is it red? Let's say a reddish pink, but not quite a fuchsia. This formula is beautiful - I'd forgotten how good these lippies are ...

    4. W7 Kiss Lipstick - Reds - Chestnut.  How stunning is this warm and wintery red? The formula isn't so great though - very comfortable, moist and juicy, but it slips and slides all over the place. Even with a lip liner, you need to check it every so often as it has a tendency to end up on your chin and your cheeks lol ...
    5. Maybelline ColorSensational Made For All - Mauve For Me.  Can't rave about this enough - SO flattering, the perfect formula. I have a few spares ...
    6. Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate - 48.  Another one I had to toss - have had it for years and it'd started to smell weird. Love the colour though ...

    7. Nutrimetics Nutrimetics Hydra Brilliance - Marshmallow.  This one appears here fairly regularly - it's that perfect shade of plummy brown that goes so well with the darker colours in my winter wardrobe, and the formula is a dream ...
    8. Maybelline ColorSensational Metallic Matte - Copper Rose.  This one just barely makes the cut in the comfort sector as it is a little drying, but the fabulous colour and unusual finish give it extra points so it's a keeper ...
    9. Nutrimetics Silk Creme - Plum.  I have worn this heaps, in fact, I'm halfway down the bullet. Beautifully creamy, this keeps my lips supple and hydrated from dawn till dusk, and well that plummy pink hue is a winner ...

    10. Australis Colour Inject Moisturising Mineral Lipstick - Electronica. Another from my bargain haul - bright but not scary and will be a regular this coming Spring ...
    11. Revlon Super Lustrous - Berry Haute.  This is the pink that thought it was a purple - definitely borderline between the two shades, and one of my faves. Love your work Revlon ...
    12. Australis Colour Inject Moisturising Mineral Lipstick - Gangsta Rap.  The find of the month - I have two tops and a cardi that are EXACTLY this colour, so thanks Australis! ...

That's it for July lovelies - which one do you fancy the most?

    Take care of you,

    SPOTLIGHT: Favourite January & February 2019 LOTD's...

Even I'M bored with the number of times I've mentioned I need to do a "catch-up" of my LOTD's, so here it is - a combo of January & February. There were actually quite a few that appeared in both months, so rather than repeat myself, I've culled the lot down to 20 faves, and am now officially up to date yay! ...

With so many pinks, mauves and purples, you'd think this was a spring edition. Actually, my only obvious concession ot the seasons is that I tend to keep my dark and broody shades for the cold weather, and there'll be plenty of that soon - yikes! Meanwhile, here we go with what's left of summer...

    1. Maybelline Colorsensational - Bronze Metal. Not everyone is a fan of brown lipstick, but I love it now and then, especially when I'm wearing more natural coloured clothing, like creams, beiges, tans and even soft leafy greens. This is an oldie but a goodie, have had it for years but it hasn't deteriorated in the slightest...
    2. Lip Monthly - 02. Adore this one - it's definitely orange, but kinda scorched so it's not overly bright. I'll be trotting this one out several times during autumn - it reminds me of maple leaves...
    3. Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer - Sunstone. Another blast from the past - the sheer volume of my collection is the only reason why I haven't worn this in ages. Deliciously moisturising, and such a gorgeous colour...
    4. Ulta3 Matte - Bitter Sweet. Reasonably comfortable for a matte, I've included it because it's such a pretty coral. Most of my other ones have a much higher pink content...

    5. Maybelline Colorsensational - Rose Rush. Love this, the only coral red I have in my kit, and MNY has nailed this formula...
    6. Ulta3 Ultra Matte Longwear Lip Cream - Wild Fire. Another one that's on the dry side but it's tolerable, and I'm prepared to put up with the slightly shrivelly effect as it's such a stunningly bright orange-red...
    7. Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick - Red Rum. Bless Jeffree - he knows what he's doing, this is a classic...
    8. Rimmel The Only One - Best of the Best. Hard to beat this bold and sassy gem from Rimmel. Super moist, super red, super glossy...

    9.  Maybelline ColorDrama Intense Velvet Lip  Crayon - Red Essential. My love for these crayons continues unabated - the perfect deep winter red...
    10. Essence Lights of the Orient Matte Lipstick - Belly Dancing Queen. Very comfy for a matte, and it has enough pink in it to qualify as a berry...
    11. W7 Matte Lipstick - In The Pink. Soft and feminine, this is girly all the way and doesn't dry my lips...
    12. Nutrimetics Hydra Brilliance 50th Anniversary - Frosted Grape. You've seen this before and will again, countless times. So kind to my old pucker...

    13. Revlon Superlustrous Lipstick - Liptember Mauve. Totally mauvalicious, sometimes I loathe Special Editions like this because I fall in love, and then I can't buy it again. Boo!...
    14. Ulta3 Lipstick - Orchid. Another soft and pretty baby. Ulta3 lipsticks are amazing value - they have a tendency to be sheer, but I've worked my way through the whole range and found all the ones that are dense enough to cover my freckles, like this one...
    15. Revlon Superlustrous - Fuchsia Fusion. What's a lipstick collection without a few fuchsias? If the truth be known, it's only recently I've gotten the hang of how to spell fuchsia ha ha. Well done Revlon, this is a darling...
    16. Nutrimetics Hydra Brilliance - Magenta. Oh Barbie, this one's for you!...

    17. Ulta3 Lipstick - Lilac Glow. More pink than lilac, but one of their finest, and highly recommended if you want something moist but not glossy, total coverage and excellent longevity...
    18. Avon Mark Lipstick - Berry Cute. One of the best magazine cover giveaways ever - adore this lippie, so creamy and moist...
    19. Sash Cosmetics Luminous Lipstick - Gypsy Child. I call this shade mystic purple - just my little thing lol. I fear Sash Cosmetics has folded, and their Christmas giveaway was a loving way to say goodbye. Both their Facebook and Instagram pages are no more - so sad...
    20. Sash Cosmetics Luminous Lipstick - Insomnia. This purple is heading into brown-land, but it's still purple in my beauty book, and another one that's ideal for the cooler months - a darn shame I can't get hold of any more from this brand as the formula is a winner...

Would love to know which ones you like ...

    Take care of you,

    SPOTLIGHT: Favourite September 2018 LOTD's...

Gee, tough decisions for the selection of my fave September LOTD's. The gorgeous Barbe from Fashionista In Suburbia had an Instagram #7Lippies7days Challenge, and I couldn't resist entering multiple times ♥ The requirement was for different colour families or textures every day, and I took the opportunity to rediscover some beauties that I haven't touched in almost 2 years...

Of course, there are some all-time loves and repeaters here too, but I selected 18 from the BIG bunch which I hope you'll like, so here we go ...

    1. Hikari Matte Lip Gloss - Metro. How's this for a pretty nude? One that I can actually wear successfully, and without looking anaemic. The formula is amazing - long wearing and supremely comfortable. Came in a LipMonthly bag ...
    2. L'Oreal Color Riche - Cristal Cappuccino. Gorgeous reddish brown, THE shade for autumn, I've had this for yonks and it's still keeping my lips lush and supple ...
    3. Nude by Nature Moisture Shine - Garnet. The first of three lipsticks called "Garnet" on this page, and they're all vastly different colours! I swatched this one again just the other day as it's actually more intense than it appears here - I used a pale nude lipliner underneath for this pic, but have since found another one that's closer to the shade and supports the colour rather than watering it down. It's really quite beautiful, and the formula of these NBN lippies is magical, hope they bring out HEAPS more colours (hint, hint) ...

    4. Ulta3 - Sweet Passion. Absolutely adore this lippie - one of very few in my kit that's leaning more to yellow/orange than red/orange, and a far better match for some of my wardrobe oranges. It's rich and dense and has a slightly frosted finish, which I think is ever so flattering for us older chooks ...
    5. Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid - Orange Shot. A blast from the past and I'm bamboozled as to why I've neglected these for so long - fabulous formula, fabulous pigment, so comfortable to wear all day without flaking or becoming scruffy-looking ...
    6. Maybelline Color Sensational - Fatal Red.  Always a favourite, so vivid and creamy, a true fire engine red - phwoarrrrr ...

    7. Bourjois Rouge Edition 12 Hours - Red-Belle. This was a gift from a darling colleague on my last day at work  It doesn't actually last 12 hours, but pretty close, and despite being a long-wear, it's entirely lip-friendly. Love you Bourjois ...
    8. L'Oreal Color Riche Moisture Matte - Bloody Mary. This is her fifth appearance in my LOTD posts, which pretty much says it all. Pass me the vodka ...
    9. Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer - Carnelian. We're gonna go back, WAY back...to 2015 when I bought these! Oh my, doesn't time fly when you have too many lip products? Still as gorgeous as ever, smells delish, slicks on like a dream - unbelievable ...

    10. Nutrimetics nc Hydra Brilliance - Garnet. Another one that gets featured regularly in these posts -  review HERE, love everything about it, and this to me is "garnet"! ...
    11. Nude by Nature Moisture Shine - Deep Plum.  The second fave from the new releases by NBN, and a shade that's right up my alley - more please! ...
    12. Covergirl Colorlicious - Ravish Raspberry. Had this one a while too, but it's still available from Priceline. The shade and texture is as delicious as the name ...

    13. Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer - Garnet. Yep, I sure dug deep into my collection, but I'm so glad because I've fallen in love with these all over again - such a beaut shade for spring, and hooray that gloss is making a comeback ...
    14. W7 Liptember Lipstick - Raspberry Ripple. What would September be without a Liptember lippie hey? Quite possibly my favourite from the range, there's that slightly frosty shimmer again that I love, but not so much that it's dated ...
    15. NYX Cosmic Metals Liquid - Fuchsia Fusion. You've heard me go on about this range many times, and my passion for this electric pink will never ever fade ...

    16. Dirty Little Secret - Vengeance. Oh my, what a divinely soft yet statement pink. I've discovered some gems via LipMonthly, and this is one that's dear to my heart. I have a couple from this brand - the formula is lovely and moist, needs to be reapplied fairly regularly, but it does leave a decent stain to keep you going ...
    17. City Color Creamy Lips - Blackberry Mojito. What an utterly stunning purple - massive applause as they totally nailed this berry shade. It sure is creamy, needs only a very thin swipe to look this intense, and even the name gets my mouth watering ...
    18. Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink - Creator. Pretty much the ultimate purple liquid lippie - lasts all day ...

Any here you like, or you think might suit you?

    Take care of you,
    kats xxx

    SPOTLIGHT: Favourite August 2018 LOTD's...

Another round of LOTD's, and a pretty good spread of hues and finishes. I always use a matching lip liner wherever possible as my lips are freckled and it helps with the coverage. There are 120+ liners in my collection, but STILL, there are times when I can't find a perfect match - in that case, I choose one that's as close as possible, but lighter so there's no harsh line around the outside. I also reverse outline my lips with a concealer crayon (usually NYX Wonder Pencil in Light), which is how I get a crisp outline for the piccies, and that combined with a cotton bud is what I use for my cleanups ...

I've been pretty good of late, tossing out anything from the box that smells even vaguely stale, applies streakily, or isn't sufficiently comfortable to warrant keeping - so hard to let go though lol!...

    1. How pretty is this Covergirl Colorlicious Lipstick in Romance Mauve - it's one of the few nudey pinks that I can wear and feel comfortable wearing - normally pale + me don't go together, but I'm prepared to make an exception with this beauty ...
    2. And if you're after a mushroomy taupe kind of shade, I can highly recommend this Australis Colour Inject Moisturising Mineral Lipstick in Miss Manhattan - lovely creamy formula, soft and elegant colour ...
    3. With a name like Russet, I was expecting this Nutrimetics Hydra Brilliance Lipstick to have more red content, but I'm not complaining at all - actually I adore this gorgeous orange and the fact that the formula is so lip-loving and doesn't go on all streaky ...

    4. Not much difference between the previous one and this Nutrimetics Hydra Brilliance Lipstick in Pecan - another delightful orange, but with a tad more yellow (which I'm always looking for) so very happy with this ...
    5. Ahh, my beloved Bourjois! This Brownette from the Rouge Velvet Lipstick range - SO hard to find a brown that doesn't have heaps of red in it, so this is a firm fave, and the formula is a winner ...
    6. Good old W7 Liptember Lipsticks - this is Devils Darling and rivals so many of my super expensive (by comparison) reds. I have quite a few of this particular one but buy a new one (and several of the other shades) every year anyway 'cos it's such a good cause, and for $4.95, what does it matter to have doubles or triples ...

    7. One of the best red glosses around, this is Maybelline Vivid Hot Lacquer in the shade Classic. One of my newest additions, and so glad I indulged because it's just so darn fabulous. I'll quite possibly be buying more from this range ha ha ...
    8. Another of my recent bargain buys from the Nutrimetics Hydra Brilliance collection - Chestnut. Such a divine colour for Autumn/Winter, so warm and rich and toasty ...
    9. This is one of those rare mattes that doesn't shrivel my lips into sun-dried raisins - Maybelline Colorsensational Matte - Divine Wine ...

    10. You'll be seeing this one over and over again - it's my favourite from the Bourjois Rouge Edition range - Violine Strass.  This is everything I want in a lipstick ...
    11. Another regular on these pages, NYX Intense Butter Gloss in Spice Cake. Very VERY similar colour to the previous one (you can probably guess this is one of my favourite shades) but a wee bit more blue content, and of course, pure gloss. Pure bliss ...
    12. This one is from a LipMonthly bag, IBY Beauty High Intensity Lipstick in Mardi Gras. Same colour family but lighter and brighter, nice formula ...

    13. Another W7 Liptember beauty - Neon Purple. Can't believe these moist and creamy lipsticks are under $5 ...
    14. I look at this NYX High Voltage Lipstick (Twisted) and wonder who on earth would discontinue this stunner?!? ...
    15. Lucky last is L'Oreal Color Rich Balmain Lipstick in Freedom. It's only here because of the magical colour. The lipstick itself was such a disappointment - streaky and very drying. I'm not buying any more of these ...

That's it lovelies - till next month!

    Take care of you,

    SPOTLIGHT: 4th Quarter 2017 Fave LOTD's - Part 2...

It's pretty obvious that I love and wear a wide range of lipstick colours, and it's incredibly difficult for me to pick one all-time fave. But I might just stick my neck out and say that there's one on this page that hits the mark every time I slick it on, so let's get on with the big reveal lol ...

Categorising colours is a matter of personal interpretation, and it's clear from the names that brands give their lippies that not everyone sees the same thing! Often I'm torn between one classification and another, but I'll start with what I call plums, although there's only a couple...

This first one is a good example of "what colour do you call it?" In this photo, it's close to being a bricky red, but in reality it has too much pink in it to appear in Part 1 - it's a mini Matte Lipgloss from SAVVY by DB and it's called Flame. The middle one was another gift from my (darling!) beautyheaven Secret Santa - Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick by PUR Cosmetics in the shade Addiction. Fabulously pigmented and long-lasting. On the right is NYX Metallic Matte Liquid Suede in Pure Society. Crikey I fell hook line and sinker for this lippie store-swatch, that was until an hour after I applied it and it started flaking off. So saddening as it's the most gorgeous GORGEOUS colour, but the lip shrivelling formula sucks big time...

In case you hadn't noticed we're into the berries now, and this Rouge Laque Purpledelique by Bourjois is a star - lasts for ages, it has just the right amount of gloss, plus it's non-drying. The second pic is the same lippie, but with another layer added so you can see that this baby is also buildable to really bring out the berry. The third pic is (drum roll please)... "The One". Oh my gosh, have you ever seen a more brilliant pink? NYX Cosmic Metals Lip Cream in Fuchsia Fusion. I've mentioned before how much I love this whole range for intensity and comfort, and of all the colours, this is my favourite (yes even above the purples!). If you wear this, I can guarantee you will receive numerous compliments, and lots of gals will want to know what it is. Simply stunning! ...

You can probably tell I'm a big fan of bold and bright pinks - for me they're 100% smile-inducing, and this mini Matte Lipgloss in Flicker from SAVVY by DB is a hottie. In the middle is Pink Macaroon NYX Intense Butter Gloss - one that will always be in my kit, well as long as they keep making it. NYX glosses are the bomb. And on the right is another lovely pink, a warmer one this time, and yet another of the SAVVY by DB mini Matte Lipglosses - Fire. Can't get over how wonderful these are for $1! ...

For those wanting something a little less out-there, here is Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Amethyst Shimmer - another babe I've had for a while, and a regular throughout Spring. Such a flattering hue, and totally lip-friendly. I included the next one because it's such an unusual shade - it's by Trifle Cosmetics, and came in a Lip Monthly bag. Called Matte Decadence Multipurpose Matte Crayon for Lips & Cheeks. It's a little drying, but the colour is so unique. The last one is Lily Lake Natural Lipstick by Burt's Bees - beautifully moist formula, this could easily be classed as a nude, but alongside my others, it's definitely a pink ...

And for the purple lovers, we have a borderline pink/purple by BYS - Diamond Lipstick in Sparkle Baby. Would prefer something a little more hydrating, but the shade is ever so pretty. If you''re not sure if you're a purple gal, then this is a beaut introduction. In the centre is W7 Liptember Lipstick in Neon Purple - quite sheer, but a few extra slicks will give you this amazing colour pay-off. On the right is another NYX Intense Butter Gloss, this time in Berry Strudel. It looks a little blue around the edges, but that's because I used an eyeliner as my lipliner, and it was the closest one I had to the colour - I've since bought a matching one from NYX. Again, LOVE NYX glosses! ...

And now we get to the REAL purples. On the left is Colourpop Satin Lip in So Wavy. I'm a satin or gloss gal at heart - I find so many of the mattes to be too drying, and this one works exceptionally well. Centre stage is what I classify as the ultimate purple - only recently added some JeffreeStar lip products to my collection, thanks to a blog sale by Sarah from More Than Adored. This one is called I'm Royalty, and there was never a more appropriate name hey. One of the best matte lip products in the marketplace, and possibly the only one that I can wear comfortably all day long. And I'm finishing up with more JeffreeStar - this is a blend of Blue Velvet (100% blue, which I doubt I'll ever wear on its own) and Blow Pony (a pale pinky purple). I mixed the two to match my outfit, and they blend together amazingly well with no streaking ...

So that's it for 2017! Thanks for stopping by lovelies - anything here you fancy?

    Take care of you,
    kats xxx

    SPOTLIGHT: 3rd Quarter 2017 Fave LOTD's - Part 1...

It's time for another round of fave LOTD's  These are for the three months up until end September, and I'm continuing on with splitting the post into only two parts instead of four as it's the only way they'll see the light of day in 2017! So here we go with the lippies that made my personal cut...

These posts are a beaut reminder for me of the stunners that are in my collection, and I even use them as a reference when I'm ferreting around for a particular colour, and can't remember what it's called or who made it. Hope you enjoy these browns, oranges, reds, corals & nudes ...

    1. BYS Velvet Liquid Lipstick in Hot Cocoa - quite drying but I included it as it's such a fantastic brown for the cooler weather.
    2. In the second pic, I added Cosmoholic Gold Gloss over the top of the same BYS lippie to see what would happen, and I wasn't disappointed - instant shimmer and shine,  plus it made the matte product wearable in the comfort department. I love how this gloss makes any lipstick multi-dimensional and vibrant.
    3. The third one is NYX Liquid Suede - Downtown Beauty - an unusual brown with yellow/green tones, goes so well with olivey/khaki outfits ...

    1. Of course, brown doesn't have to be dark and broody, and this BYS Matte Lipstick in Espresso is the perfect cool weather shade for the not so daring - like most matte lippies it's a little drying, but a beauty for the price.
    2. The middle one is from a range that you'll be seeing a lot more of in this post - ModelsPrefer Artist Collection Crayons in the shade Bare. These little pencils are $5 for 3 from Priceline - whoa! A brilliant range of colours, you can wear them on lips, cheeks or eyes, and although they're not a standard size for a sharpener (grrrrr!) I'm able to keep the point using the large side of a Manicare one. These crayons are also terrific as lip liners - I think I bought the whole set!
    3. This last lippie I've had for ages - Nude by Nature Mineral Lipstick in the shade Sassy. Not the first time this has appeared in one of these posts, gorgeous autumnal shade, and fabulously nourishing formula ...

    1. Only a couple of oranges this time around - it's a challenge to find one that isn't streaky, but NYX has nailed it with this Cosmic Metals Lip Cream in Solar Energy - beautiful colour, beautiful formula. Love this whole range actually
    2. In the middle is another ModelsPrefer Art Crayon in a shade called Poppy - it's ever so pretty hey?
    3. And the last one is another of these crayons (see I told you there'd be lots!) - this one is Carnation, and just tips over into a red ...

    1. Oh my, the reds! Can't beat a scarlet hue for giving me a lift on a dull day, or with a monochrome outfit. On the left is Bourjois Rouge Laque in Self Peach - why oh why haven't I tried Bourjois lipsticks before? Who knows, but I'm making up for lost time - fabulous formula, amazing pigmentation, lasts for hours, total winner!
    2. Middle one is a long-time fave - Maybelline Color Sensational Fatal Red, fatally awesome.
    3. And on the right is W7 Liptember Devils Darling - even MORE intense, and a steal at $4.99, plus the proceeds go to a women's mental health initiative. I buy some of these every year ...

    1. Moving onto the starring red in my kit - L'Oreal Color Riche Moisture Matte Lipstick in Bloody Mary. I already have a spare of this wowser - if you're serious about red lippie, then you MUST get your hands on this classic hottie
    2. #2 is NYX Intense Butter Gloss in Apple Crisp - so vibrant, so comfortable, I've said before these are my all-time favourite glosses, and that's still the case.
    3. Last one is Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick in Best of the Best - really the only one in this shade family with some blue content, love it ...

    1. This darker red is ModelCo Lip Crayon in Red Velvet - I wear hardly anything from this brand, their products don't ring my bells at all, but this came in a Lip Monthly bag. It's really quite creamy, and one of the deepest reds in my collection.
    2. The second one is Maybelline Matte Lipstick in Divine Wine - divine by name, divine by nature.
    3. And lucky last is another ModelsPrefer Artist Crayon in the shade Berry. I included it here because to me it's a red rather than a berry ...

    1. This first one is in a family all its own - gee is it a mauve, a nude, a pink? Can't nail it down but it's a stunning shade - Covergirl Katy Kat Matte in Catoure. Nothing else like it in my kit - ADORE!
    2. Centre one is Hola Neon Velvet Liquid Lipstick in Party Pop, another one from Lip Monthly. I included it as it's such a gorgeous corally shade, but it's very very drying, so I may have to toss it.
    3. On the right is Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color in Flirtation - such a comfortable formula, love just about all the shades in this release ...

    1. And the final three! First up is ModelsPrefer Artist Crayon in the shade Coral - pale but ever so flattering on this old chook.
    2. Centre stage goes to So Susan Liquid Matte Long-Wear Liquid Lipstick, shade Pumpkin  - quite a mouthful but the most comfortable long lasting matte liquid I have ever tried. Survived turkish toast wth vegemite & a fried egg - thank you Lip Monthly!
    3. And finally another of the Maybelline Color Sensational Bold range - Gone Greige. I'm not a nude lover, but I'm crazy about this mushroomy beigey beauty ...

So that's it for the last quarter, which I don't know about you but it whizzed past me in a blur.  Do any of the above lippies take your fancy? Is there a favourite of yours amongst these?

Next up will be pinks, purples, plums and berries ...

    Take care of you,
