The base I used was Mirenesse Face Gel in Blue Moon - sadly they don't make this shade any more, but although I've had it for several years, it's just as viable as it was the day I bought it. This was one of the original range that didn't come with a built-in brush - the colour is just so deliciously vibrant.
Over the top I added Peace from the UD Deluxe shadow Box - such a stunning turquoise with loads of shimmer, then I smoked the outside with Zero from the same palette. Just to make it interesting, I dabbed a smidgin of Fishnet in the middle of the lid. It looks a bit patchy because this is a duo-chrome that my camera doesn't register all that well, but IRL, it was super pretty.
I then lined the lower lashline with MNY Master Precise Liquid Liner and blended a little Peace over the top. On the waterline, I used the Mirenesse Blue Moon.
Does nature inspire any of your eye-looks?
Take care of you,

I LOVE this look Kats. There is something really beautiful about the blues that you choose. The vibrancy is brilliant and the touch of purple just adds so much to it. Actually, the purple is what really reeled me in - it is a work of art!
ReplyDeleteKate dear I'm a notorious "fiddler" adding little bits and pieces after I'm done. Sometimes it ruins the whole damn thing lol, but other times it gives the look just that little extra finishing touch it needs. So glad this time it paid off :-) This Mirenesse gel has had very little use over the years, but I reckon that's about to change... xxx
DeleteThis is glorious!!!! Perfect colouring and SOOO lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have the last few blogs showing up on the right hand side - if anyone (ME) has been very busy and hasn't had a chance to check in, it's super easy to see what you MUST look at. Great idea. Your blog is really "taking shape" - congratulations Kats, I'm really thrilled for you.
Love, Trish.
My darling Trish, so glad you have a chance to stop by, always a delight to read your positive and uplifting comments :-) My blog is most definitely a work in progress - haven't been on such a steep learning curve for many moons ha ha, but it's so much fun! xxx
DeleteI love the hint of purple in the centre, it gives the whole look an iridescent quality, just like butterfly wings! You're such an artist :)
ReplyDeleteHay Cat honey, thanks as always treasure. As you can see I'm giving this UD palette a massive workout - I think this is the most sensational turquoise in my kit! And I can rarely resist the urge to add Fishnet to just about anything lol...
