IMPULSE REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY!

Spotted these at the supermarket last Saturday, and on an impulse (lol), thought they'd make a fun little giveaway

I read about them last month on Lady Sapphire Blog, and haven't been able to track them down till now. There's nine different flavours in the range, but I could only find five - all unique and surprisingly sophisticated, and the beauty of them is the price ($4.99) and their compact size and weight. They'll easily squeeze into your handbag for a quick freshen up...

They have a nifty little twist top, which you spin to reveal the spray, and then twist back to lock the pump so there's no danger of inadvertent squirts when you're digging around in your bag. The fragrances don't last more than a couple of hours on my skin, but that's what I love about them - perfect for summer spritzes on-the-go, and they won't intrude on anyone else's space. They were designed by Ann Gottleib, who's responsible for perfumes such as Calvin Klein's Obsession and Eternity, and Marc Jacob's Daisy - pretty impressive hey?

Here's a brief rundown on the different scents and their main notes...
Into Glamour:  Exotically elegant, the most grown up of all of them  (sandalwood and vanilla)
Very Pink: Fresh, flirty and fun, this one puts a smile on my dial (pink grapefruit and roses)
Merely Musk: No surprises here, it's musky and definitely sensual (lime and sandalwood)
Illusions: Floral with a delightfully refreshing tang (rose and sandalwood)
Romantic Spark: Like a bouquet of spring flowers, and my personal fave  (violets and wood)

Actually who am I kidding, I love them all and can't wait to get my hands on the other four - Sweet Smile (pear and jasmine), Tease (red fruits and woods), Love Story (violet and raspberry) and Goddess (gardenia and pear). Don't they sound delicious?

As usual, the Rafflecopter will decide the winner, so please make sure that you follow the entry instructions, and read the Terms and Conditions inside (Australian residents only). Please note that leaving a comment, providing your email address inside the Rafflecopter, AND following my blog one way or another from the many choices listed are MANDATORY for entry...

    1. Me too TP - I find that a wee bit of fruity content makes all the difference to stop florals being too sickly sweet ♥

  4. Musk is usually my favourite, but 'Into Glamour' has got sandalwood & vanilla - SO sensual, Violets remind me of my grandmother & a violet patch we had when we were kids so there's a lot of memories tied up with that one. I'm such a vacillator!
Maybe I should narrow it down by saying that, unlike everyone else, the 'Very Pink' is the one I could live without.

    1. Out of the two, I prefer Into Glamour, but the musky one is really quite delish - but then again I have quite a few perfumes that have a generous violet content, it's very dear to my heart too ♥ The beauty of these fragrances is that there are so many choices, and they're such an amazing price, so there's bound to be at least one you love hon xxx

    1. Violet is one of my fave scents hon - I have quite a few perfumes where it's the primary note and they're all soft and romantic and ever so feminine. I actually wore Romantic Spark all day yesterday ♥

    2. Sorry to revisit an old post but what's your fave voilet scented perfume? I had a smell of Guerlain 'Insolence' in Myer today and it's gone to the top of my wishlist! Wondering of there's any others you like as much or better (or cheaper lol?)

    3. I'm delighted to read you again hon! If you like violets, you'll love Elizabeth Taylor's Violet Eyes - I reckon you can pick it up for less than $40 at Chemist Warehouse too. Must try the Guerlain one, thanks for letting me know ♥
