EOTD: MUA Poptastic Purple and Blue...

Wearing colourful eye shadows as often as I do, it's a comfort to have a few sure-bet colour combinations up my sleeve that I can always fall back on if I'm in a mad rush, which is fairly often lol. Purple and blue is one such pairing - of course there are so many blues and so many purples to choose from it never turns out quite the same, even if I use the exact same pigments. Lately I've been creating some dark and broody looks with these two hues, mainly because we're in the depths of Winter (brrrr!) and I tend to go for lighter shades once we've left the chilly winter months behind. But sometimes I just CRAVE a hint of the season that's on the horizon - and so to remind myself that Spring is approaching (please don't be late sweetie!), I went for a brighter blue and a pretty peony pinky purple...

I can always count on my MUA Poptastic palette to deliver fabulous pigment - actually it's just as well I took a photo of it when it first landed on my bench because I can assure you it doesn't look even remotely like this now after so many uses

My base was essence White Kajal, and I just patted down the two shades above - easy peasy because they're so buttery and soft, and have a fabulous shimmer content. On the waterline is Chi Chi Waterproof Gel Eyeliner in the shade Dream Lover...

For my Spring-beckoning face I used Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous foundation, Maybelline Master Glaze blush stick in Make a Mauve on my cheeks, and dusted a wee bit of purply pink from the bhcosmetics Glamorous Blush palette on the apples for a little bit of extra warmth. Lips were Makeup Revolution Lipstick in Make Me Magnificent - it truly is a magnificently vibrant purple with plenty of pink to flatter this particular chooky...

Take care of you,
kats xxx

    1. Thanks so much TP - I particularly love this shade of blue, it's one of those ones that's verging into the teal side of things, and I was delighted to find that the Chi Chi liner matched it so well ♥
