Oh wow - after several agonising weeks' wait, my lookfantastic Advent Calendar 2019 finally arrived, and it's even more fantastic than I'd hoped. Interestingly, it's the only Advent Calendar I've ever bought and what a way to start! For $145, the contents are advertised as being worth over $750, and almost all of them are full-size. And having opened all the boxes, I definitely chose wisely for my first experience ♥...
Spoiler Alert - contents will be revealed!
The presentation is absolutely gorgeous! The box is huge and really quite heavy, made of super sturdy cardboard in a deep blue with gold embellishments. I have to say I'm feeling a bit of a tease as this is currently listed as "sold out", but I'm posting all the goodies in case it might inspire you to put some pennies aside throughout the coming year so you can score one next Christmas - I sure as hell am! ♥...
Each slide-out box contains a beauty item professionally wrapped in midnight blue tissue paper, with a cute little numbered card describing the product - it's all so so beautiful, so let's get on with the contents. This will be a picture heavy post without many words as I haven't tried any of the products yet, but you'll see my reviews as usual in the Empties posts going forward ♥...

Can never have too many hand creams, and this sounds delish...
#19 - Bioeffect EGF Serum
This is the cutest bottle, and while it's only 5ml, it'll be plenty if all I need is 2-4 drops. The 15ml dropper bottle sells for $195 so I'm more than happy with $65-worth...

I haven't heard of half of these brands, but I'm busting to try them, and I tell you what with all this going on my face, body and hair over the next 12 months, I'll have no excuse to not look fantastic by the end the of the year ha ha. Overall I reckon this is the most unbelievable value and massive thanks to darling Ingrid from fabulous and fun life, without whom I would never have known it existed! ♥♥♥...
Even though I've already peeked inside every box, I've put everything back, and am planning to still play along with the tradition, and only open and try each product on the relevant day in December - incidentally any of the above products marked with an asterisk (*) are the ones that don't necessarily suit me, so watch this space in the weeks ahead as I might just have a special giveaway ♥...
kats xxx
OMG, I shouldn’t have peeked. This looks AMAZING. I might have to splurge after payday.
ReplyDeleteWhy no MerryGoRound - after all it's a once-a-year treat that, well in this case in particular, lasts the whole year! ♥
DeleteOh my. This is so awesome Kats. Ive never had something like this but would certainly delight in opening a door every day. What fun that would be. I think this looks like fantastic value thats for sure.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you the pink pepper shower gel sounds like it would smell amazing.
It's a super special concept hey Fawn and quite an old tradition, although the skincare content is quite new. How about a lipstick one? Imagine 25 new lippies in a month lol!
DeleteI'm so happy you received your calendar before they sold out Kats! Isn't it amazing! It's definitely the best advent calendar I've seen on the market in Australia this year.
ReplyDeleteI opened all my drawers too to have a quick sticky beak but have replaced all the items back in them again so I can open a new 'surprise' each day in the lead up to Christmas!
Well Ingrid I'll certainly be thinking of you every day from 1 December! Can't thank you enough lovely lady for bringing this to my attention. At first I thought it was too much to spend on a frivolous gift for myself, but after seeing the contents, it's more like an investment for the next 12 months! ♥♥♥
DeleteSo many lovely things! So much better than a chocolate advent calendar (well, maybe...) ;)
ReplyDeleteOh my, a chocolate advent calendar? Don't start me Mayday ha ha - I just found a Lindt one, crikey this could be very very bad for my waistline ♥
DeleteWhat a fabulous box, Kats! I've never done an advent Calendar. Will have to see if we have in Canada. TFS xoxo
ReplyDeleteAmy sweetheart, I do so hope you can find one you like, there do seem to be some available - I just found this if it helps: https://www.narcity.com/deals/ca/19-advent-calendars-for-adults-that-you-can-get-in-canada-this-holiday-season
DeleteThat looks fantastic , enjoy the goodies and spoil yourself , you deserve it xo .
ReplyDeleteThe only advent calendar I ever bought is the chocolate one lol
Thank you sweetie! I was planning on a choccy one too, but reckon I might have done my dash with this one, plus I don't need another kilo on my bod lol!
DeleteI got one of these last year and I was so delighted with the contents too! I also had a peek before hand :)
ReplyDeleteOmorovicza is definitely one of my favourite brands discovered through Look Fantastic (last year they had a huge moisturiser and funny enough I am just about finished it now! woot. Can't wait to hear what you think about the mist.
This year I got Peony Parcel advent and everything is individually wrapped so I am doing my best not to unwrap early.
I'll be sure an let you know about the Omorovicza mist Dara, just don't ask me to pronounce it lol! The Peony Parcel Advent box looks fabulous and it's still available - ooooh, so tempting...
