LOTD: GOSH Copper Mine...

Although the days here in Sydney are still packing a hot punch, the mornings and evenings have started to cool down. So in preparation for the season change, I started digging around in my drawers to see which of my richer russety lip products are still viable. I do a cull every year, and go through a fair bit of torment when I find an old fave lippy smells a bit funny or no longer swatches creamy and smooth, and I have to bin it...sob! But I breathed a sigh of relief when I found my GOSH Copper Mine still had plenty of life left in it - it's one of the few shades I have in my kit that matches my current hair colour...

I started with essence lipliner in Honey Bun to provide a warm base...

And here's the GOSH Velvet Touch Copper Mine - adore this colour, and I'm sending another massive thank you to Hissycat Krissy for gifting me this luscious and lustrous lipstick  I'm super impressed with both it's moisturising and staying qualities, but I haven't the faintest idea where to buy them other than eBay, but even then, this shade doesn't seem to be around any more. This constantly happens to me when I find something I really love...sigh...

I topped it with Savvy Lip Gloss in Burnt Amber (at least these are still available from Priceline!) This is a magnificent colour and top value for $4.99. The doe's foot applicator is nice and fat, and it delivers an almost mirror shine with just the right amount of pearlescence...

Do you regularly sort through your lipsticks and toss out what's had it?

Take care of you,
kats

  1. Gorgeous lipstick - so appropriate for the changing weather! I'm in Newcastle and I know what you mean about cool mornings/hot days...makes it so hard to figure out what to wear, you'll either freeze or melt at some point during the day haha

    1. Thank you so much Kate - sadly I ran out of time on this particular day so I didn't get to photograph the blue eyes look, only the lips...

  6. Kats, I found Copper Mine online for you, however I have no idea about the reputation of the company:

You can buy Gosh lipsticks from PM Studio in Australia, but they don’t have that shade available:

    1. Bless you Petal - you're such a wiz at finding the unfindable ha ha! Thanks so much, I've bookmarked both these sites, I reckon I can't go too wrong with the discount one as they have free worldwide shipping, and I'm thrilled to know where I can get FACEatelier & MUFE products in Oz ♥

  7. If you haven't yet ordered the Copper Mine lipstick from overseas, may I suggest that you use Paypal to do so? I've just seen a comment in the BH forums where someone said that they had problems with Strawberry.net and fraud on their credit card. Apparently it can happen more often in Hong Kong. I'm concerned because the company I found has a warehouse in Hong Kong.
