EOTD: Chi Chi OMFG - Chasing Away the Winter Blues...

Crikey it's FREEZING in Sydney! We were so spoilt with an amazingly mild Winter last year, but Mr. Chill is taking his revenge this time around, so I thought I'd better make my first EOTD of the season a colourful one to hopefully scare him back to the south pole

For the base I used Max Factor Wild Shadow Pencil - it doesn't have a name but it's a pale and pretty lime green shade. I applied the shadows left to right in the order they are in the palette below, and then blended the joins. The green is particularly stunning, with a beautiful shimmery finish - I took this under the lower lash-line as well...

For the crease I used MUA Matte #20, a smokey charcoal, and then added bhcosmetics Waterproof Eye Pencil in the shade Huntress on the waterline...

Face-wise, I used Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch Foundation (Sandy Beige), cheeks were a base of Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick in Coral Sheen, with a light dusting of Sleek Molten from the Flame Blush By 3 palette over the top. Lips were Lacura Beauty Lipstick #82 (Grapefruit) topped with Maybelline Color Elixir Gloss in Mandarin Rapture. Lashes are always (always!) wearing Maybelline The Falsies Waterproof Mascara...

How has your Winter been so far - are you loving it, or busting for it to be over and done with ASAP?

Take care of you,
kats xxx

  2. Ugh, can't wait for it to be over! The only things I enjoy about winter are getting out my coats & wearing them (one's red, the other electric/cobalt blue - no black for me!), new boot purchases (if I bother - have had to this year as my previous pair were falling apart again) & comfort food. That's it. I could definitely live without the chilly nights & mornings, although I should be grateful that I don't live in Canada & have to deal with -40C temperatures or something like that....I'd literally hibernate for months on end!

Anyway, gorgeous EOTD! Love those bright colours on you.

    1. Hey Seashells - your coats sound so lovely and colourful, I have a black for when I want to be all conservative for the office, but I have a red and a teal one in reserve when I need a little pick-me-up ha ha. And yes I too am grateful that we don't get below zero temperatures - I lived in the UK for a while and it snowed a few times, but it was rare enough to almost be fun, definitely a novelty ♥

    1. One of my fave combos too Jasmine - a little taste of Spring/Summer, just so we don't forget it won't be long before they're back xxx

  5. I'm absolutely loving this weather! If I could afford to emigrate to where it snows, I would, it's summertime that I hibernate.

I don't know how on earth you pull of the orange lip, that's one thing that definitely doesn't work with my cool skin tone. You can't go wrong with the Chi Chi OMFG palette, looks great as always.

    1. Good to know there are some folk who don't mind this chilly season hon! I reckon I only just scraped in with the orange lippy - I tend to go more for corals, but you know me, I'll try just about anything ♥
