EOTD: Sugarpill Mochi...

Meet Sugarpill Mochi, my latest love  Yes yes I know I have a gazillion loves ha ha (and quite a few aqua hued shadows) but this one has been a long time in the lusting-after department (almost 2 years), and she's been so well worth the wait. Such a creamy, dreamy mermaid-esque matte, which doesn't swatch as solidly as the other ones, but with a bit of building over a cream base, she's just so unbelievably gorgeous...

I had almost the whole set of Sugarpill mattes, except for the black (I didn't order this as I have heaps of other ones that are well pigmented) and this little sweetie, and it's taken all this time for me to get my act together to purchase the missing treasure from my kit...
It'll be interesting to see how she goes with essence white kajal as a base, but for this particular look I used NYX Eye/Eyebrow Pencil in the shade Seafoam Green - it's almost a metallic, and perfect under a matte shadow because it stops it being totally flat, and gives it a smidgin of pearly dimension...

After pressing on a couple of layers of Mochi (no fallout yay!), I smoked the outer corner with MUA Matte Midnight, which is a delicious tealy dark blue. On the waterline is essence Longlasting Eye Pencil in the shade Cool Down...

I'm so entranced with this shadow - needs a bit of work with a soft brush to get the intensity I want, but I think you'll agree she's a divine hue

Take care of you,
kats xxx

    1. Thanks my dear TP - I tell you what, they REALLY know how to make eye shadows, and they're not all that expensive, just a bit bleah as far as OS shipping is concerned, but that's always a pain hey ♥

  4. Ooh, I really don't like that colour as it sits in the pan, but the NYX & MUA combo make it ethereal! This is an example of the end result being far greater than the sum of its parts. This is just SO beautiful! I love it!
