Back in November, I posted an apricot EOTD and mentioned how I thought this shade would go particularly well with certain other hues from the rainbow. My comment seemed to generate some interest from a few of you lovelies, so I've done three new looks, this time pairing this gorgeously feminine shade with olive, pink and purple...
Apricot and Olive...

Apricot from the Bronze Maybelline New York Hyperdiamonds palette
Olive from the Napoleon Peridis Prismatic Eye Quad #7
Apricot and Purple...

Purple from the Physicians Formula Fashionista palette

Medium pink from the L.A.Colors Wildflowers palette
Three totally different looks, all using the same base and the same apricot shadow. My personal favourite? Hmmm, tough call - I love the calming softness of the apricot/olive combo, but my passion for vibrant colour has me leaning towards the apricot/pink one :-)
Which one do you like best?
Take care of you,

I love the Apricot and Pink combination best, Kat. I like colours that make your eyes "pop" and it really has a "party" feel to them. It's very pretty and eye catching :).

Thank you my dear - I'm going to try again with the purple, but a more pinky purple next time ♥
DeleteI can't choose between the olive or pink, they are both stunning! xx
ReplyDeleteThis is such a versatile shade hon - next I'll be trying it with a peacock blue :-)
DeleteI adore the apricot and olive - very classy!
ReplyDeleteLove your description roxy - I think the combo works because both shades are a similar intensity, neither one dominates the other :-)
DeleteSome more beautiful looks Kats! I love the Apricot and Pink the most, its so fresh and perfect for Summer!
ReplyDeleteThanks heaps T&T - it's my fave too :-) I love how the apricot kinda melts into orange before it hits the pink...
