I was pushing my luck a little with this particular look though, because of the silver component on the lower lashline, and the black on the waterline - given my age, I'm fast approaching dangerous territory where it becomes a wee bit hazardous to use such shiny shadows on my crinkly bits, and black waterlines are probably best worn by more youthful eyes, but hey, it didn't look so bad from a distance ha ha...
The usual base of essence white kajal, then the matte bright pink on the inner corner - much more older-eyes-friendly :-) Blended the slightly shimmer magenta over the rest of the top lid, and stroked the silvery grey along the lower lashline...
In the crease I added the barest smidgin of the potent matte black, and lined the waterline with ModelsPrefer Matte Black Kohl Pencil...
On the cheeks I used Revlon Photo Ready Cream Blush in Flushed, and added a dusting of the hottest pink from the BYS On the Brightside blush trio. For the lusciously loud lips, I slicked on a generous layer of Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick in Hot Plum, with Chi Chi Valley Doll Lip Lacquer over the top...
One more EOTD for December to go, and you can bet it will be another from the Sleek Acid palette ♥
Hope your Christmas was a particularly joyous one ♥
Take care of you,
kats xxx
wow....how amazingly beautiful....I love it
ReplyDeleteThanks my dear Fawn - such fabulously pigmented pinks, and so easy to work with xxx
DeleteI'm so glad that you created this pink look, Kat. You've made this colour so wearable. It truly is a special EOTD. Oh, and adore the lips, too xx
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just a gorgeous colour Indie? So glad you like it hon - I have such a soft spot for this bright and bold pink ♥
DeleteYou're doing really well with that palette, Kat!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks tp - can't believe I haven't even become BORED with it yet ha ha!
DeleteHonestly Kats you look a million bucks no matter what colours you wear, simply stunning!!
ReplyDeleteGosh Monique - you sure know how to make an old gal feel good, thanks so much darling lady ♥
DeleteThe two pinks play well with each other. I can't believe how good that silver looks! Silver eyeshadow is supposed to be a key 2015 look. I was going to give that trend a miss, but I'm rethinking... I'd wear that silver with a bit of MNY color tattoo in Audacious Asphalt.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have thought to pair the pinks with silver, but it does work!
Ooh thanks for the silver tip hon - I tend to put pink with other colours, or just black, but I agree, it works with this frosty shade ♡
