EOTD: Olive and Purple...

Mmmm I spied a fabulous olive and purple look over on the beautyheaven EOTD thread the other day, created by the gorgeous Michelle from Ritual Eyes - Mich inspires me with her stunning creations all the time, so here's my version of this striking colour combination...

I wanted something bold (who me? ha ha) so I used two bases - Purple Face of Australia Budge-Proof Gel Eyeliner on the inner half, and Olivey Green Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Gel Liner on the rest...

Over the top of the purple I laid down L'Oreal Chrome Intensity shadow in Purple Obsession, and the foresty green I used was from the Napoleon Perdis Prismatic Eye Quad #7, which I also took along the lower lashline. To finish off I applied the same PF Shimmer Strips green liner on the waterline...

And here's what it looked like with my purpley outfit...

Gals I'd LOVE to know where your inspiration comes from - do tell, and links would be wonderful

Take care of you,
kats xxx

    1. It's a beauty Sarah, and still available I believe - the last of the L'Oreal Chrome range! It has a blue shift in it, you can just see it a little especially on the inner corner :-)

    1. Indie hon, thanks a bunch - as you know some shadows blend far more easily than others, and these are so smooth and silky, and I could tell they wanted to be together lol...

  5. Both Michelle and you create some stunning eyelooks, Kat. It's so great that you can make just about any combination of colours work together. A true artist at work !!!
Today my sister was trying to tell me about "growing old gracefully" because I buy anti-aging skin care and like wearing makeup. She thinks the phrase means not bothering with skin care and wearing no makeup at all; i.e. a "natural" look. I tried to tell her that it meant "no surgical intervention".
I consider myself as "growing old gracefully". I just want to look the best that I can while I'm doing it, LOL !!!

    1. Thank you for your lovely comment Arty. Hmmm yes, I guess everyone's interpretation is different - in my case no skincare and no makeup would result in looking old and wrinkly overnight lol! So I'm with you kiddo - I'm endeavouring to soften and slow down the process a little while enhancing whatever I've got going for myself at the same time xxx
